For the first time ever, these talented musicians will take the stage in Indy as members of Babyface’s band—and we’re throwing a homecoming celebration worthy of the moment.

About the Guests of Honor

Bryan Thompson
Indianapolis born and raised. An alum of Broad Ripple High School. With his saxophone playing, Bryan has dazzled audiences across the United States and in foreign countries as a member of the band of the legendary Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, who also is a native son of Indianapolis and an alum of North Central High School.
Bryan joined the Babyface band in January of 2023. When he is not performing with Babyface, he performs gigs in his own right under the name B. Thompson. He has released several recordings that are available at all digital streaming platforms. Additionally he is featured on Rodney Stepp’s single “Sunny Days”.

C.Jayy
Indianapolis born and raised and an alum of Warren Central High School. “C.Jayy” as he is called joined the Babyface band in June of 2024. He has performed with Babyface all across the USA and in a few foreign countries. He does background vocals, dances up a storm and is chief hype man for the legendary Babyface. When not performing with Babyface, he is a member of Indianapolis’ own r&b singing group 4Cast. With 4Cast they have music available at all digital streaming platforms.

A four man r&b singing group whose members are: Al Wayne Hester, Carl “C.Jayy” Harris, Jr., Shaq Diesel and Neko.Vynez. Their current single “Take A Chance (On Romance) Lover’s Edition” reached #1 on The Urban Influencer R&B & Soul Chart. They have opened shows for Babyface, Anthony Hamilton, Johnny Gill, Morris Day & The Time, Lalah Hathaway, Atlantic Starr and Loose Ends.

J’Sol
A trio of powerhouse singers in Staci McCrackin, Alaina Renae and Stephanie Allen-Stevenson. Individually and collectively these ladies sell out venues wherever they perform. With a wealth of experience, they have opened shows for artists such as Boyz II Men and October London. They also were the darlings of the late Jim Irsay owner of the NFL Indianapolis Colts as members of his touring band.

Damon Karl
A singer and acoustic guitarist. He has opened shows for Babyface, Patti LaBelle, The Isley Brothers, Charlie Wilson, Midnight Star, Ashanti, Morris Day & The Time and duetted with Karyn White. His biggest single “Don’t Wake Me Up If I’m Dreaming” was written and produced by Reggie Griffin and received airplay on Sirius radio.

Kelsi Marie
Singer/songwriter. She has appeared on various stages in Indianapolis and continues to shine as an up and coming artist. She is currently working on her first ever EP working with producers Rodney Stepp and Zero. Her biggest single to date, “Bringing The Truth” featuring Skypp still gets airplay in markets like Philadelphia.

Jamal White
Singer/songwriter. Jamal is an up and coming r&b singer that embodies the elements of vocals and showmanship. His latest single “Ya Man Ain’t Me” is racking up streams and is an audience favorite.

Ivan Moreland
Ivan is a young cellist. The Pike High School alum combines his classical training on the cello with modern day music landscapes to create a sound that offers something new and different from the usual. He received great reception at the sold out smooth jazz festival in Indy as he opened for Jonathan Butler, Najee and Gerald Albright. He will be working on his first official solo release this year.

Nyiel
A singer that can get a crowd moved with her voice and focused delivery. Nyiel and the stage are meant for each other. Her nickname is Pooh, but she is nothing to pooh about. A relative newcomer she caught the attention of of our ears at a celebration performance.

Triple Play (the band)
Tariq “Riq” Stallings – musical director on keyboards. This young man is from Cincinnati, Ohio and has played with Babyface, Slave and Mali Music to name a few.
Cameron Brown – plays guitar and bass guitar. He also hails from Cincinati, Ohio. He has played with Lakeside, Aaron Ray and Mali Music.
Kimeon “Pinko” Sumler – drums. He hails from Indianapolis, Indiana and helms his own band called Pinko and The Band. He co-owns an audio company that has done sound for various national music acts.
